Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, we will pick you up at the airport with private transfer to your hotel in Hanoi.

If you arrive earlier, we recommend that you experience sitting on a Cyclo going through the Old Quarter in the afternoon, Also known as the 36 streets, this bustling area of narrow streets is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. Originally, each of the 36 s names’ was related to the products being sold there. It’s a great place to explore on foot with numerous photo opportunities. Otherwise, you can enjoy the delightful Water puppet show, a fascinating art form that originated in northern Vietnam (at your own expenses).

In the evening, our guide will pick you up at the hotel heading to the local restaurant to enjoy the local dishes in Northern Vietnam. After breakfast, pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Start 2.5 hours road journey. You will be presented at Tuan Chau International Port, where Grand Pioneers Cruise staff will welcome and assist with check-in procedures. You will check in at the Reception, on the first floor. Enjoy our welcome drink and be introduced to the itinerary and safety policies.

Return to Ha Noi. Arrive around 14:30 – 14:45 at Noi Bai International Airport. Fly to Hue. Upon your arrival, our driver and guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel.

Overnight in Hue.

After breakfast, a full-day trip to visit the old capital city of Vietnam under the Nguyen Dynasty ruled from 1802 to 1945, with the first stop at the Imperial Citadel giving you a better understanding of the beauty of Vietnamese Royal architecture and culture.

Then we will visit Thien Mu Pagoda – one of the most popular attractions in Hue. It is located on the banks of the poetic Perfume River with the typical traditional architecture of Hue pagodas and is famous for the event in which a Buddhist monk from this temple, Thich Quang Duc, burned himself to death for an anti-government protest in 1963.

Lunch at a local home with local food. After lunch, have relax time with herbal foot bath, enjoy royal tea.

The next stops will be King Khai Dinh tombs which is the most beautiful works of royal architecture of the Nguyen dynasty.

Continue the journey, Our car will transfer you to the boat dock to board a boat along the scenic Perfume river (Huong river). The boat departs upstream of the Perfume river during 2 hours of the trip, you can let your mind settle and feel the breath of life flowing around the side boat while admiring the stunning sunset beauty on the Perfume River, relaxing and enjoy a diverse of cakes and royal herbal teas. Guide will share with you about the Perfume river stories, introduce the famous landmarks that the boat will travel through, Hue royal herbal tea and Hue locals.

After breakfast, our driver & tour guide will pick you up and drive to Hoi An. Stop en route at some memorable and interesting locations. It starts with Hai Van Pass for incredible vistas of mountains, clouds, and sea.

Visit Marble Mountain, where you will witness some sacred statues and stone sculptures.

After lunch, our driver and tour guide will take you to the hotel in Hoi An ancient town. You have a chance to discover Hoi An ancient city on your own.

We recommend you enjoy the peaceful beauty and the ancient charm of ancient merchants’ houses, Fukien Chinese Congregation, the Japanese Covered Bridge, the Sa Huynh Museum, etc, and the beautiful ancient town at night with colorful lanterns.

After breakfast, we are heading to visit My Son Holy Land, once the spiritual capital of Champa Kingdom that dominated South East Asia for nearly a thousand years and occupied most of the central parts of Vietnam from the 2nd century to the 16th century with very rich history and culture. Contemplate its remarkable red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th centuries.

After visiting My Son Holy Land, our driver transfers you to Da Nang International Airport. Upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, our driver and tour guide will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel in the city center.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.

After breakfast, our guide and car will meet you at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city center and start the tour to explore Ho Chi Minh city. The first place to visit in the tour will be the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of the war in April 1975.

Notre-Dame Cathedral: Established by French colonists who initially named it the Church of Saigon (French: l’Eglise de Saïgon), the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880.

The Central Post Office was constructed from 1886–1891 and depicts classic elements of Gothic, Renaissance, and French colonial design.

Continue on to Chinatown, Thien Hau pagodas, which is dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea. Explore the highlights of this fascinating area, beginning with intricate friezes, carved tableau and impressive incense coils make for some great photos.

Then observe street life through the narrow streets to Binh Tay market that sells everything from clothes to dried squid.

Have Lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to visit War Remnants Museum where there is a vast display of both the Indochina wars. In courtyard massive military vehicles are for exhibition as well as tiger cages for the visitor to get a feel on how it was to be a prisoner during wartime. In the museum building itself, each floor will represent a separate theme from the war and the war crimes committed towards the Vietnamese people.

We end the city tour with Ben Thanh market where anything and everything is for sale. We drive back to the hotel.

Our tour guide will pick you up at hotel and head to Cu Chi Tunnels for 60km from Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for the role it played in the Vietnam War. The famous Cu Chi tunnels are a huge underground network. The tunnels were once used as a military base for the Vietnamese Soldiers resistance to the US forces during the Vietnam War and often used as hiding spots or spy activities. You will find it hard to imagine the destruction and damage that once dominated the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was “a free target zone.”

Mekong Delta full day (Private service: 85 usd)

Our tour guide will pick you up at hotel, and we will then depart for My Tho city. Enjoy the scenery and green rice paddies during the one and a half hour on the private car. Along the way, we will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta.

Continue to My Tho, where we take a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you can see fish cages and floating houses on the river. The boat takes you to a small canal, escaping the hustle and bustle of the town. We disembark at a coconut island in Ben Tre and enjoy a walk around the village. Stop at a local family home to enjoy tropical fruit, taste the honey tea and honey wine, and listen to Vietnamese traditional music performed by the villagers. Check out the coconut candy shop and learn how to make candy and see handicrafts made from the coconuts. Lunch is set with special Vietnamese food. Enjoy your lunch outside under the shade of the trees. After lunch, enjoy your time relaxing, walking around the village, or perhaps going for a short bike ride.
