Continue your scenic sojourn through rustic rice paddies, leading you to a bustling local market. A leisurely ride along cool back roads takes you to the ancient city of Co Loa. This ancient city, dating back to 257 BC, becomes a canvas for stories that have shaped Vietnam’s narrative.

You journey to a family oasis amidst the fields. Engage with the gracious hosts, possibly savoring traditional rice wine, and gather insights into Vietnamese life. Pluck succulent fruits, connecting with the land’s bounty and the family’s warm hospitality.

Back to Hanoi for a delightful lunch. Afterward, you have the freedom to explore the captivating city at your own pace.

In the afternoon, our Jeep ride leads you to the mesmerizing railway train tracks, where you’ll witness locals’ lives intertwined with the tracks, dwelling in tall, narrow houses mere centimeters away. Traverse further to the iconic Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, a vantage point offering an overview of historical landmarks, where our guide unveils the intricate stories of Hanoi.

Our journey culminates at a Kumquat farm, symbolic of Vietnamese values. Delight in a moment of relaxation, sipping Vietnamese coffee,  and indulging in the renowned Egg coffee.

Concluding this exceptional tour, our path leads to the grandeur of the Long Bien Bridge. After breakfast, pick up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. Start 2.5-hour road journey on a private car.

You will be presented at Tuan Chau International Port, where Grand Pioneers Cruise staff will welcome and assist with check-in procedures. You will check in at the reception, on the first floor.

Return to Hanoi by comfortable private car. Arrive Hanoi city around 14.30 – 14.45. Our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Noi Bai International Airport. We fly to Danang. 

Upon arrival at Da Nang airport, we will wait for you at the airport with a private transfer to Hoi An to check in and rest at the hotel. 

Overnight in Hoi An.

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel and begin the journey to explore Hoi An countryside.

The car will transfer you to the water coconut forest. We take the Hoi An basket boats there to go crab fishing with local fishermen. Besides, you will also get the opportunity to learn how to utilize simple fishing tools to catch crabs, fish, and so on.

Then we will go to Tra Que Vegetable Village to join a “cooking class”. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing local drink, followed by a guided tour of the village where you’ll meet local farmers and learn about the traditional farming methods they’ve used for generations. Wearing traditional farming clothes, you’ll even get to try your hand at some light farming tasks, no machinery here, just old-fashioned methods.

Next, it’s time to step into the role of a chef. At a local farmer’s house, you’ll start your Tra Que cooking class. You’ll learn to prepare iconic Vietnamese dishes such as Tam Huu (Tra Que vegetable salad), Vietnamese rice pancakes and crispy fried spring rolls.

We will enjoy with what you just have cooked and fresh coconut water. After lunch, it’s time to relax and enjoy life by getting a foot massage using local herbs and medicines.

In the afternoon, we will continue visiting Hoi An, an ancient town, that was known as Vietnam’s largest international trading port. We will visit some of the highlights, such as Tan Ky ancient house, the Japanese covered bridge, and Phuc Kien assembly hall.

Next, we will visit the Hoi An Theater to watch various fabulous performances. Including plays, dramas, Champa dance, classical instrument performances, and Bingo games.

We will end the tour by making lanterns and visiting the Hoi An market.

After breakfast, our guide and car will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An and transfer to My Son. With our guide, you will explore the beauty of My Son. In 1999, My Son Holy Land was named and designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Sightseeing My Son, travelers will have the opportunity to learn about the culture and architecture of the Champa Ancient Kingdom. You will also have a chance to enjoy the rite and see the ancient Champa dance restored by the local government.

Our car transfers to Da Nang International Airport for Ho Chi Minh City. Upon your arrival, our driver transfers you to a hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the afternoon, you’ll experience Vietnam’s rich tapestry of history, culture, and lifestyles, soaking up the city’s iconic French colonial architecture and its bustling local markets.

Reunification Palace, which was the residence of the President of the Republic of Vietnam until 30th April, 1975.

War Remnants Museum, where you can see countless artifacts, photographs, and pictures documenting the second Indochina war.

Cathedral Notre-Dame Established by French colonists who initially named it the Church of Saigon (French: l’Eglise de Saïgon), the cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880.

The Central Post Office was constructed from 1886–1891 and depicts classic elements of Gothic, Renaissance, and French colonial design.

Ben Thanh Market is one of the oldest markets in Ho Chi Minh City. It had appeared before the French invaded Saigon (former name of Ho Chi Minh City), built at the beginning of the 17th century for small traders to exchange their goods on Ben Nghe River’s bank, next to a harbor near Gia Dinh Citadel.

After breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel, and we will then depart for Ben Tre Province (about 90 km far from the city).

Arriving in Ben Tre, your first experience is taking Xe Loi (motorbike pulling cart)—one kind of tractor as well as the locals’ daily vehicle—to travel through the green fields and gardens in the village. This means of transport will lead you even past the small village road to watch the local people’s daily life, which is usually attached with rice paddies and lush green orchards.

At the end of the road, you will board the Sampan to begin a tour exploring the Mekong River. Your sampan will cruise among the large networks of meandering rivers and criss-crossed canals so that you can observe the local fishermen’s lives and contemplate the beautiful waterway landscape of the Mekong Delta. A welcome drink of fresh coconut juice and tropical fruits will be served while the boat is cruising.

Upon embarkation on your sampan, you will take the visit to the traditional handicraft workshops of making coconut, brick, and Hu Tieu noodles. There, you will chat and talk to local people as well as learn more about the lives of people living in the Mekong Delta Region.

Additionally, the Mekong tour also offers you a great opportunity to experience traveling by hand by rowing boat and cycling around the small village roads on the Mekong islets. The two local vehicles will help you to worm easily through the interlaced network of rivers and canals to reach the smallest but prettiest corners in the region.

After lunch served with local food at a riverside restaurant, our tour guide will take you to visit a local family’s traditional house, which is a typically wooden-style house made of coconut. The wife will teach you how to make a traditional local daily food of Hu Tieu noddles, while her husband, a former Vietcong soldier who luckily survived the war fighting against the Khmer Rouge (Pon Pot), will tell you some stories about this war.

Saying goodbye to the local hospitable family, you will transfer to the pier nearby, where your boat is waiting for you to bring you back to Ben Tre City. Return to Ho Chi Minh City by car.
